A guy I knew in college was killed in Philadelphia
He was killed by shots fired from a drive-by shooting.
Here you have a college student-athlete killed outside of a party over summer break.
No mention of the shooting/murder in the papers or on televised news.
Years ago my car was almost totalled, so to get around my girlfriend let me borrow her car.
I drove it for three weeks, and before I gave it back to her I decided to vacuum it out. Right underneath the passenger seat was a bag of marijuana that she didn't even know was there. It turns out her...
I tell everyone I know to say this if a cops asks to search:
"No, I don't consent to a search"
If the officers asks why, then:
"A lawyer told me to never consent to a search."
Ditto. I'm the guy that most people are probably worried about.
What's interesting is that my "demeanor" simply consists of situational awareness combined combined with a "man up" attitude. When I see suspicious characters, I make sure that they are aware that I am aware of them. Goblins...

Yeah, on the surface it's funny, but the reality is that this seems like a blatant (proposed) violation of the 1st amendment.
And if this ban were to make it to law, then what's next?

Kinda like how some cities fudge crime statistics to make the city appear safer than it really is, so that the city remains an attractive...
Wow, cross France off the list
I will not consider living there.
This seems like plain, old-fashioned government censorship to me.
What about acting?
If a French drama student films themselves in a "violent" scene and publishes it, what if the .fr.gov doesn't realize it's acting?
You could simply point out the fact that if a "psycho" with a gun were to corner them somewhere, they would be completely helpless to defend themselves, their wife/husband, their kids, etc.
These threads about UK bans are getting old
We could just say that "anything remotely resembling a weapon is banned in the UK", and save some server space.
;)
Kudos to you for your discipline
I would have felt like grabbing my baton from under the seat and breaking a few kneecaps had some moron kicked out my tail lights for no reason.
I slow down for those that tailgate.
No, I don't drive in the passing lane.
Don't like it? Then find a way around me.
I also sit lower in the car than the angle of the mirrors, so the "hi-beams in the mirrors" trick doesn't work on me.
I'm thinking of tinting the back windshield as...
