    inside neck lube

Bottle neck case lube I've been reloading a while. I've used the case lube pads and oil-really messy I've used Imperial sizing die wax- works great and can be applied to the inside with a sucker stick or a Q-tip without the cotton, only takes a little and works great,but..... My favorite...

45 ACP 185 gr LSWC Load Data

I would weigh 3-4 bullets begfore you start reloading. Also, if you are using a Lee factory crimp die you had better get some accurate info on using it. I bought one for my 45acp and it made all the bullets loose in the case. So now I don't use any crimp die except a light crimp from the seater...

Rookie question: How do I choose a proper reloading press?

I've had a Lyman T-Mag for probably 25 years or more. It is a good press and loads accurate ammo. And I am told the new model is even better.

    Need something to catch lead

The bucket works good. I did the same thing for years. But about 5 years ago my son in law gave me his old metal dumpster, about 5 wide and 4 high. I filled it with sand and haven't eptied it yet, but when I do it will have a couple hundred pounds of lead at minimum.

    Need something to catch lead

That bullet trap above may work for round ball but thats about it. Get or make a box, steel or wood, and fill with real sand. Make an extended front to attach your targets. When you need more lead just tip over the sand onto tarp and pick it out. I've used sand for years, there is noting...

10mm vs 45 ACP which has more stopping power.

New comer here :) It really doesn't matter to me which has more power, and that is why I really like this comparison I guess for hunting, according to you guys I would pick a 10mm, but since I don't have one I will use my 45/70 or 44Mag in Contender pistol frame. I've never had anything...

Good light loads for .30-30 and .30-06!

I've used Bkue Dot in my 30-30 Contender pistol. Works fine but I have no idea what the muzzle velocity was. I didn't have a Chronograph at that time, and I rarely shoot this barrel anymore. If you have a Lyman's reloading manuel it will often give you light load recomendations.

    Advice on reloading results, please!

The group that is high is caused by muzzle jump with a slower fps speed. The barrel is still high (in recoil) when the bullet leaves the chamber. You can prove this yourself by shooting normal loads of jacketed bullets and then shooting a group. Now take the same rifle or pistol and shoot some...

    Cleaning rifle with brake cleaner?

The only thing I use it relating to shooting is to clean my bronze bore brush. It does make them last a lot longer, but I'll never use it directly on a firearm of anykind.
