    Stickers on your ammo cans?

I keep a FULL can of each calibur I use regularly, stacked in the safe, in the order I would use them. Made some cheap stencils and some spray paint makes em look pretty official.

As requested by moderator hso: Video of NYC ESB shooting 8/24/2012

Every police agency should practice like crazy, and have thier officers reload practice ammo to carry specs. Get good practice at a reduced cost, and a better understanding of what is in that holster.

    Suport Starbucks on Feb. 14th

I sent my secretary to Starbucks for drinks for everyone in my wifes office, set me back 40 bucks, and I don't care a bit. They think I'm the super nice hubby, I supported my gun habit......... all is good

    Reasonable gun buying

I make it an equal payment type system. If I spend anything on my hobbies, I spend an equal amount to pay extra on her car loan. Makes it turn a 5 year loan into 3 pretty easy! I want toys, she wants her car paid off.....

Scored a deal on a Dillon Square Deal!

From all of my reading, looks like Precision Delta is the way to go for me. There is a price break at 6000 rounds too. Since I will load for 4 calibers, 6000 at a time fits me very well.

Scored a deal on a Dillon Square Deal!

$300 for the press with dies and holders for both calibers. 500 rounds of clean 45 brass, maybe 300 rounds of 40 brass, some random 9mm stuff. 2500 small primers, and 1000 large primers. The seller met me about 20 minutes from my door.

Scored a deal on a Dillon Square Deal!

Just picked up my new press, already set up for .45, with dies and stuff for .40 too! I guess I better get some projectiles ordered!!!

Parents - do your kids own guns?

I bought my son a Ruger Charger for his 8th birthday. He had already mastered the BB gun from last year.

One Dillon 650, or several Lee Loadmasters?

Shooting won't be every weekend, mostly weather permitting. We tend to get a lot of snow for the first 3 months of the year. Price of components to load and shoot that often is not an issue, its not all coming out of one income. I did mention the wife and friends in my number of 500 rounds of...

One Dillon 650, or several Lee Loadmasters?

I am not new to loading, just looking for a big step up from single stage use. I don't have a problem tinkering or fabricating parts. I have several lathes, presses, and all the tooling to make them work. I am not new to making mechanical things better than they were designed to be. With...

One Dillon 650, or several Lee Loadmasters?

As stated, I have about $1000 for a press, dies, and things to make it work.

    Does anyone scrap brass?

I was looking to buy bulk, unsorted brass. I checked with our local scrapyard today, they currently pay 1.78 per lb. I don't know a fair price to offer to buy for my use.

One Dillon 650, or several Lee Loadmasters?

Shooting 500 rounds each of several calibers during a weekend with the wife and friends will be pretty normal after getting a good press. I will prefer to load 1000 of each caliber at a time, to save time on changeovers, and primers and projectiles come 1K at a time anyway. I don't reload...

One Dillon 650, or several Lee Loadmasters?

Sounds like I will be doing more reading about the LNL, and decide between it and the 650

One Dillon 650, or several Lee Loadmasters?

I want to stick with an auto indexing progressive. The Loadmasters can be picked up with dies and all, ready to use for under $250. The 650 is about $550, no dies. $100 for the quick change kits, still no dies....... I don't mind a little tinkering, I own an auto repair shop, and am a...

One Dillon 650, or several Lee Loadmasters?

Currently, I am only interested in loading for 4 pistol calibers, .380, 9mm, 40 S&W, and 45ACP. I would prefer to set up a machine for each caliber, and leave it set and ready for use. Space is not an issue, my bench is 20 feet long. For similar money, I can get 4 Loadmasters, set up and...
