    Your top 5 carry guns!

In no particular order, I carry Sig P938 - usually in pocket holster but sometimes IWB Glock 43 - pocket holster Glock 19 - IWB Glock 17 - IWB S&W 1911 5" .45acp IWB, sometimes but rarely OWB Very happy with all of them. The G43 gets carried the most, G19 2nd most, but I carried the S&W...

    S&W 3913 Pocket Holster

Hey all, I work as an armed guard & burglar alarm responder, and currently carry a Beretta 3032 Tomcat .32 on my weak side as a pocket carry backup gun (My primary is a S&W 5906). My company has us work alone w/out partners. So open carrying in uniform I feel like a walking target...

    Ruger 1911

FWIW I've put a lot of rounds through my 5" SR1911, it started out great and if anything has improved with use. I like it so much I trust my life to it on duty 40+ hours a week as an armed guard. Been shooting for 18 years and I'm definitely a 1911 guy. Solid gun.

    357 Magnum as you're ccw

BigFatDave said what I would say. I'd love to carry a Coonan. I carry a 5" steel 1911 full time. Been wanting one for a while, just gotta come up with the $$$$

The Next Gun I Want to Buy Is...., Because....?

After nearly a decade of slowly accumulating and collecting, it feels weird to say it but at this point I have all my needs covered and then some. That being said, I've been lusting after a Coonan .357 since before they started making them again! It's really been on my mind lately too. I...

Got a new (to me) .45!!

That is frickin sweet! I thought I wanted a 3913, but that just changed I love my 5906 and I'll never trade or sell it ever, but I really prefer .45acp to 9x19mm

    s&w 5906 vs s&w m&p9

^ So basically a 5906 isn't for people who dislike manual safeties and/or decockers... I'm not everyone, I'm just me, and I prefer having a manual safety as an option if I want to use it. The double action pull feels pretty smooth, I'd feel safe carrying it with the safety on or off, draw...

    s&w 5906 vs s&w m&p9

5906 regardless of where I'm taking it. I'm not a fan of plastic at all. I prefer a heavier gun by far for recoil management. A good belt and holster completely negate weight while carrying for me. I prefer to carry a 1911, but I love my 5906. I've put many thousands of rounds through it...

Do you still have your first concealed carry gun?

Yepyep. I shot recreationally for just over ten years before finally going for my carry license. So at that point between rentals, relatives, and friends I'd tried it all and knew what worked for me. It's still my favorite carry gun and though I've bought many since it's still the one I...

Calling all of you who carry a 1911.

Excellent feedback in this thread. I've been shooting for just about 18 years, and carrying every day for about 5 years now. I've shot just about everything out there and I'm a 1911 guy all the way. Pretty much all of my reasons have been mentioned here already so good job. My main...

    Your priceless cheapo

Another Jennings J-22 here, I've read and watched a lot of negative reviews about these little pistols, but mine has been great. Seems like you just have to use the right ammo. I never would have went looking for one of these guns, but mine found me, and after getting to know it, I'll never...

What was the caliber of the first gun you owned?

First started shooting with .22 rifles as a young boy. First gun I ever owned was a 1851 navy replica in .44 cap and ball But if we're talking modern firearms then my first was a S&W 5906 I still have 'em both (=

    1911 picture thread...let's see them!

^ Nice pawn shop find & fix up! I haven't posted in this thread in a while, and it can always use more posts! Also bought my 3rd 1911 back in September, and due to moving, never got around to taking pics of all three together until just the other day. So it's about time! You are looking...

    Artistic Pictures of Guns

I've explained this way too many times, here's my attempt at a short version: if you've ever taken a 15 second exposure, you might know that you can walk through the picture with a flashlight, and the light will show up but you won't. It's kind of like that. The hammer was in the rear...

Single or double stack magazine pistols.

Didn't see the results til I voted, looks like I tied it back up 65 to 65 at the moment, very interesting to me! When it comes to semiauto pistolas I currently own 6 single-stacks and only 1 double-stack.
