The guys here have talked me into buying a Sig 226. I'm easily influenced. ;)

    Full Auto in California

The Vegas gun shops are your closest options. Full autos are fun but not worth the price those places charge. I'd rather shoot my AR-15 rapid fire. You could always attend a Reno AR-15 event.

    Full Auto in California

The place in Reno was closed about a year ago due to lead concerns. They were supposed to clean things up and re-open but I think they're still closed.

    My First Sig

I'm trying to decide between the 220 and 226. Maybe I'll get both. :D

    My First Sig

No I didn't buy a Sig. I fired a Sig for the first time this past weekend. It was a 226. Why didn't you guys tell me what a sweet gun it was? ;) My next handgun will be a Sig.

    Mythbusters?

There was a episode where they made air guns from an umbrella. They were trying to replicate the weapon used by Bulgarians to kill a defector. A small pellet filled with Ricin was shot into the defector's thigh. The dude died.

not too expensive O/U, Khan v.s. Izh

pbhome71, Have you checked out the Lanbers? They're a popular entry level O/U in Europe. There are usually a few of them on Gunbroker.com or other gun auction sites.

Where can I buy clay targets online?

Clays: Wal-mart I second the recommendation of the Trius One-step. It even throws doubles a fair distance....so you and your buddy can shoot at the same time. I ordered mine from the Sportman's Guide when they had a free shipping promo. I think I paid $79.

    Wolf ammo, SKS, reliability

My friend has a SKS and only uses Wolf ammo. He's never had any type of failure with his gun. I refuse to use Wolf in my guns.....just too dirty.

    Stoeger Coach Gun

I have a stupid question regarding SxS double trigger shotguns. My only experience is with pump shotguns. Can you pull either trigger first? If not, which is done first, the forward or the rear trigger.

    Winchester "Value Pack" at Wal-Mart

I've never had a problem with the value pack rounds. I like them more than the Remington UMCs. The UMCs are somewhat dirty.

    Stoeger Coach Gun

I'm also looking for a budget priced SxS. When comparing the Stoeger with the Baikals, the Stoeger seems like a better value. I've searched all the old threads about the Stoegers and no one really has anything bad to say about them. ...not the greatest fit and finish...but reliable and built...

Tomac, Thanks for posting your test results. I think I'll get the premium buckshot for home defense.

What load ot use for home defense?

Does anyone use premium buckshot? The Premium buckshot from Federal is $4.00 and their Classic buckshot is $2.60. (Latest Natchez catalog). I wonder if there really is much difference.

    Cheap 45 ammo question

I'll try the Lawman. My last shipment was American Eagle. Nothing really wrong with them, just kind of dirty.

    Cheap 45 ammo question

    Cheap 45 ammo question

If you have the choice between Speer Lawman, Federal American Eagle, and Fiocci which would you choose? All are 230gr FMJ and priced the same at Ammoman.
