I'd like to hunt around the beaver res, my dad took a nice ten point out there in '99 or '00. Had a nice wide wall hangin' rack but a little body. If I remember right it only dressed out at 130lbs.

Hey got to thinking also check out the south side of the Canton res. I was drawn for a special hunt there a couple of years ago and seen plenty of deer. Mostly does though. But I found out along time ago it's real tough to eat antlers.

Take a look at some of the Corp land around the Kaw Lake Res in northern Kay County. There's alot of public hunting land there but there are also alot of people during gun season. Would not be my first choice for gun season but there have been alot of really nice deer taken up here.
