I've been looking for new 9mm and I'm kinda set on the SR9c but I can't find one anywhere. The only other gun that feels good in my hand is the M&P 9c. I can get one right now for $475+$35 transfer. Should I do it?
You should go to the saiga forum and ask this,they are very helpful over there.I have this same gun but I rented a 14x1 left hand die from 4-dproducts and threaded my barrel. It sounds a lot harder than it really is.
I've never worked on a gun in my life and I did the conversion in a couple hours. There are plenty of videos online that can walk you through it. Get a saiga, you won't be sorry. Centerfire has them for under $300.
