Is the S&W 41 worth $1000 compared to a $300 Ruger Mark III Target? Ive fired the Ruger but never the S&W. Is it worth the price difference? I would consider the Buckmark but it irritates me that a pistol like that requires 2 allen wrenches to take down. thanks

If I get the 6920, can I remove the forend and front sight and replace with a rail and BUIS? Or is the front sight fixed?

I don't know if the 44mag is more accurate, but the convertible blackhawks are (or so I have heard) not as accurate as the standard ones. A 10.5'' blackhawk will have the least recoil of any 44 mag revolver that I know of.

I would do it. The fact that 41 mag is your favorite cal sweetens the deal.

The reason I am looking at the gp100 is because I don't want maintenance down the road. No retiming like I've heard has to be done to some smith revolvers every 2000 rounds. A superb trigger is a plus but doesn't justify a higher price and weaker design. Decisions...

No the blued 357 blackhawks are only available with hard rubber grips. Does anybody know if the blued GP100 is all steel?

What is a fair price for a new stainless 357 blackhawk?
