Okay, so I got about 500 rounds of these Rainier plated 200 grn RN from Midway . Load info for these is spotty at best. I am working up some starting loads of 3.8 grains of bullseye and WIN. WLP primers with OAL of 1.260 for my 45ACP Kimber 1911
any comments would be really appreciated
Ok, with all the suggestions I tore into the old SDB ( it has been going strong since 1990)and found that the indexing pawl was pretty well wore out. Odered up a new one and springs along with a new primer cup assembly.should be able to get another 20 plus years out of it.
My loader is not indexing correctly it seems. The primer cup is coming up before the shellplate has fully advanced catching on the edge of the plate resulting in the primers being flipped completly upside down sometimes or on edge, which makes for a pretty ugly load. Anyone out there experiance...
This has probably been asked before. I have a lot of rainer 200 grain round nose plated bullets in 45 cal. that I want to load up for my 45 acp. I like to use Bullseye powder. However I can't seem to find any loads in all of my books for this bullet. Everything is JHP, SWC or FMJ,any help out...
