    S&W Model 19 6"..

A couple years ago there were several 19's with 6" barrels for sale around here. Now they are very scarce..A buddy almost traded one to me, a 19-3, but changed his mind. I can't blame him. They seem to be a hot item now. Is it like this in other parts of the country?

    GI .45 Ball ammo

I just traded into some GI ball .45 ammo, new in the boxes. It's Olin with 72 headstamp. Just wondering if anyone knows the value of this now. I haven't seen any GI ammo for sale in awhile, nor can I find any online. Just wondering, thanks.

    Remington 550-1

I found this .22 in a pawn shop last week and went back and got it today. It's in pretty good condition, the stock is refinished, a good job too. I took it apart and cleaned it. The usual gunk in a rimfire. Wanted to shoot it today but the neighbors were having a B'day party for a grandchild...

    Model 19-7

I have an offer on trade for a S&W 19-7. This is pre MIM, with firing pin on the hammer but should have the Uncle Mike's grips according to the Standard Catalog. Is there a great difference in this model verses an earlier model? Haven't gotten a pic yet, but am told it is 98-99%. Any opinions...

    Ruger Single Six Convertible

I have a Single Six that a buddy likes, so he's been looking around for one. They have really gone up in price the last couple of years, around here anyway. They are running 400 and up, stainless or blued. Has the ten shooters caused the six shooters to increase in value?

    Savage 99

A work buddy has his Dad's Model 99 in .300.. Serial number begins with 312, he's been told it dates to the 20's, does anyone here have a reference? Or a good place to start? He's been to oldguns.net already. Thanks. Found a 99 website and got the date 1936, sounds good..

    Glock 30S

Well, since I am on a self imposed hiatus from buying guns or ammo during the furlough, I find myself wanting a G30S. I have a 36, love it, but to have 10 vs 6 in the mag appeals to me. Even considered just getting the frame. So, any G30S shooters with opinions on the pistol? Good or bad. Thanks.

    S & W Stocks

These stocks were on a M27 I got last year. I am wondering if anyone can tell me the maker ? It is a 1975-76 year of manufacture. The original owner can't remember what they are and couldn't find the original stocks. Anyway, thanks for any help.

    Colt 38 Super origins.

A buddy told me that Colt came up with the 38 Super in order to sell the 1911 in countries that would not allow their citizens to own military caliber firearms. Is this true ? Sounds interesting, he mentioned Mexico specifically. Thanks..

    Model 10 snubby

I got a Model 10 snubby about two months ago, it has a boogered sideplate screw. It's a shooter but I want to replace the screw. It's the one just above the trigger. Besides taking it to a smith, what is the best way to remove the screw. I want to attempt this if it isn't that bad, I do this...

    The Bullpup design.

I read in Gun Digest magazine today the Israel is going to a bullpup design, the Tavor. This is a move away from the M16. So, that's England and France, to have had this type rifle for years. I wonder why the US hasn't considered it. Is Steyr the only semi version and didn't Bushmaster cut their...

    S&WModel 30

I have found a nice Model 30 snubby, 1950's era. I am wondering about the .32 cartridge. Is there good SD ammo for this little revolver? I have found mostly LRN ammo. Just wondering if anyone on here carries the .32 S&W long in any of their guns? Also, it's been reblued, but looks good. It will...

    S&W Model 64 price ?

What are the opinions here on a S&W Model 64's value? It's in good condition, round butt, snubby. The grips are in decent condition. Asking price is $375. Best I can do with my research, the value for this revolver is between $300 and the asking price. Also, it's a dash 2.

Which model Smith & Wesson ?

I'm gonna do a trade with a buddy for one of his S&W's. Either a Model 27 or a Model 19. The 19 is a 4", the 27 a 6". Both are blued and in very good condition. I want the 19, but now he's offered the 27, too. Which would you trade for? Cost to me is the same for either.
