manual version, OAL Lee vs COL Hornady
I just checked to see what version of the Lee manual I have and it was originally written in 2003 but "revised and reformatted" in 2011. So its about as current as I can get... Unfortunately Alliant doesnt list for anything other than a Speer bullet...
While loading 9mm, I see some load books list 124 grn FMJ and 124 grn Hornady XTPs separately. I am curious what the difference is. I would consider the the XTP to be a FMJ and if its the same weight, whats the difference? Do I have to use load info that names the XTP specifically?
I was curious to know at what point my hand loads become classified as a +P load... I am also curious to find out how I know if my pistol is capable of handling +P loads. After shopping around for defense loads, it seems that quite a few of the 9mm rounds out there are designated as +P.
