I did this a few weeks back with both 125gr. and 150gr. Sierra Pro Hunters, over 16gr. of 2400, and a Finnish Mosin 28/30. 10 shots total at 50 yards. Will be repeating the test at 100 with the idea of using this for MBAR matches.

Ruger SR9 9mm = Federal HST 124gr +p or 147gr +p. Ruger LCR 38spl = Winchester Ranger 130gr bonded hp +p, or Remington 158 lhp +p, or RemingtonUMC 125gr sjhp +p. In that order.

So I loaded up 10 rounds of x54r with the MBC 165gr (.3115) hi-tek bullets over 16gr. of 2400. I do not have a chrono, but from the filthy barrel and progressive drop in accuracy, I can safely say I need to pull back from the 16 grains.
