250 Savage The M77 is a nice rifle, and the small barrel will heat up if shot alot at one time. But it is not a target rifle,it is meant to be hunted with where only one or two shots are fired at game. If you sight it in and plan on firing many shots thru it,just let the barrel cool down...

No manual!? First off never load without A manual. In fact have two or three. Never use anyones's pet load. Work up your own. If you are going to venture into reloading ,be careful.check the manuals,watch for pressure signs. Otherwise stick with factory ammo. Best advice I can give.

380 Acp I carry a Sig P230 stainless often,or a S&W J-frame 38. I am a small guy (150#) And they are easier for me to conceal.

Sigs Sigs are in the upper price region, but the quality is for sure there. I don't own a P232 but have a P230 that I have owned for over 10 years,and I love it. Let go of some of your old musty money and get the Sig. :)

Reloading I stand up for most all of my reloading. Do sit down to trim and prep cases at times.

Mossberg pump Yes had kids around here for many years too Boat. I like your idea of the Mossberg high in the closet. A shotgun is probably one of the best home defense guns made. And if and intruder is about, there is nothing quite like the sound of pumping the slide to load in a round.

Lee Perfect Powder Measure Lee perfect is anything but "perfect". They are all plastic, and just not quality. With flake powders they even leak powder out around the drum.
