Greetings. I am looking for a gun board that isn't full of novices, but also isn't full of trolls. Hope this is it; from post I've read I suspect it is. I like revolvers, single shot rifles, double barrel shotguns. Currently carry a S&W m12, nickel, 2"bbl, sq butt; beautiful gun. Just found...

Pocket mag holder to go with pocket holster

I don't carry change anymore! I also quit carrying a pocket knife. My pockets do get pretty full. I carry my keys in a leather "key case". I usually drop that in my back pocket when I walk around. When I sit I will sometimes take it out. I carry my wallet in my front left pocket, pistol in the...

Pocket mag holder to go with pocket holster

Thanks for the link, but yes, I do carry other things in my front pocket with my mag holder. Like any carry system, there are advantages and disadvantages. Thanks again.

Pocket mag holder to go with pocket holster

That is the weakness of the design. It is a slow system. But, I wanted to be able to carry the mag without it tearing at my pocket, which I fear it would do. Actually I can get it out partially out with one hand by pushing it down with my finger from the top. Then it is easy to pull out. I just...

Pocket mag holder to go with pocket holster

I made this little mag holder to go with my pocket holster. I left it open at both ends, but made it tight. It is not a roughout like the pocket holster is. I want the mag to stay put until I need it. I covered the entire mag so as to protect my pocket as well as the lips and top...

I made this; wasn't that hard.

I made this pocket holster for a small/medium sized pistol. It actually wasn't that hard (I was afraid it would be.) It is a "roughout" with whip lacing. Pretty simple actually; the hardest thing was making the pattern. I just traced another holster (Uncle Mike's #3 pocket holster.)

    My Companion: S&W2214

To answer your question, I don't know. These pistols were made in the 90s, if that helps. I believe the very first of its kind, either a 422 or a 2206 (I'm not sure which) actually started being produced in the very late 80s. The design is based (or actually copied) from the 1908 Bayard .32...

    Pocket holster for S&W2214

Here is my pocket holster for my S&W2214. It is a roughout and works fairly well. It is not tight, but I think that is good in a pocket holster; I don't want it coming out with the pistol.
