I found a good one a few years ago on a local classifieds site and I made a deal for it. I really enjoy having it in my collection - it is one that everyone wants to handle and check out.

I agree. BP was always a good way to find interesting firearms and a good way to sell them too. I have not found a good substitute yet.

Very cool info. I have a hex 91/30 that is surprisingly accurate. I can shoot it offhand with remarkable consistency and accuracy. The sight radius helps a lot, I'm sure, but the the rifle just plain shoots!

I have assembled 3 AR 15 guns on Spike's lower receivers. The lowers all look great and were in spec and have proved to be great lowers for my builds.

Here is my rig. I've had my TC since 1995 and have added barrels and grips / forends / stocks / scopes over the years. Top - .44mag .223 .22 .410 7-30 Waters .45-70 Govt.

I bought the long barrel version of the .500 Mag S&W (8 3/8") and believe that I made the right choice. If I had a lot more money I'd get a shorter barrel version as well but since I can only have one I think the longer barrel is the way to go.

I traded a couple of my surplus rifles toward a Ruger 22/45 Lite in red. It is going to be a great addition to my pistol collection and my daughters will get a lot more range use out of it than they would have the old Turk Mauser!

.357 handloads get shot a lot. I have a great GP100 and an even greater 686+ and I really enjoy shooting them.
