Last trip to the range I had made some new loads for my .30-06 featherlight that were just a tad bit hotter than the previous loads I had made. Well like a dumb dumb I was ready for the added recoil and took the scope just above my brow. Luckily no permanent marks except to my pride
Ive shot .270 with 55.5 grains of h4831 for years over any 130 bullet with excellent results. As others have said before why push a max load when you don't have to?
Thanks for the info. I've never tried anything larger than a 55 either, just had dome laying around for my uncles gun and was half tempted to load some
