I just use my finger nail to push the lever on my M&Ps. Not that hard. But removing the striker block from the M&P makes you appreciate the simplicity of Glocks.
Now I will agree that reassembling my Ruger MKI Target is a trick. I keep a copy of a page out of the manual right in the gun...
Clearly a lot of the 9mm advocates have never done much deer hunting. Be responsible and leave the 9mm at home or you will be joining the ranks of those that "blasts away and leaves a trail of wounded game in his wake."
If you are spilling Unique, your press is the problem not the powder. I would check with the manufacturer as it should not do that. But putting that aside, WSF, Universal and Bullseye have been great for me.
Take your pick. I have been releasing using the slide stop on my Gen2 G17 since 1988 and it still works fine. Even if you did need to replace it every 30 years or so, they are about $8 and take 5 minutes to put in.
More info. As I mentioned I too had poor ejection with Universal. After some experimentation I found most if not all of my problem was my OAL being too long which reduced pressure. Pressure is more dependent on length than I realized.
