Last one for this year for me, and possibly the first of it's kind in my state. Haven't tried it yet, but I will do a post on it after I do a couple hundred rounds. Oh yeah, it's the RM380 by Remington, made in their new Huntsville Alabama plant.

So how many here have an R51 that doesn't have any problems? To be totally honest, mine seems to be working just fine. I did experience the issue some speak of when you reassemble it incorrectly, was able to rectify that on the spot at the range in a jiffy. I've had it apart 3 times now, and it...
Armscor / Rock Island M5 Nickel 12g
A friend at work was asking me what to buy for a first HD choice; I suggested a 20 or 12 gauge with short barrel. While searching on-line this popped up, but no one had any, a few places said no longer available. I called some local shops and they have the...
R51
Picked up this hard to find new kid in town R51 about 2 weeks ago. Just finally got around to doing the initial disassembly, cleaning and re-lubrication. Yes, it is certainly a bit of the unusual type, when it comes to disassembly and re-assembly. I read about issue with this and then went...
I suppose it's a Sig Sauer P232 or Sig Sauer P290; ya know, why do they need to have Re-Strike capability in the first place? Because they have problems firing all the time, first time; that's why. I really want to like the P232, as it is an extremely comfortable gun, to shoot, to carry and to...
Ruger Days at the local Outdoor Sporting goods store; great prices on all Ruger firearms. I've been eyeing these in a variety of calibers for about a year or so. Couldn't pass up the deal, plus a Free Ruger hat too. Haven't shot it yet, but I hear they are very nice for such small lightweight...
Sig Sauer P938 SAS Holiday Gift from me. First reliable Sig I've purchased, as the saying goes: 3rd times a charm (and this is Sig #3). The first two were problem children (P232 & P290). After the first outing the P938 was flawless with both 115gr Fiocchi and 124gr American Eagle FMJ 9mm...
cokeman wrote: "I ordered an S&W Shield yesterday. I hope to have it tomorrow." Just curious, did they have this gun in stock? Where I live, many places won't even put your name on a list; they're out 3 months or more. I waited 9 months to receive a call about the M&P Shield 40 I put my name...
M&P Shield 40
Picked this up on Jan. 29th and took it the range on my birthday Jan. 30th; I had been #2 on a waiting list since April 2012! Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 40. All I can say is: I am glad they didn't forget about me and it was a fabulous birthday. Great piece of equipment!
Image Question
How do some of you get your pictures to appear in your posts already opened up? What am I missing when I add a picture, or is it the way I am saving it? I'd prefer them to be open all the time. Thanx, Have a Happy Fourth of July!
Sr1911
Your first 1911 is a Ruger, guess you are the new kid on the block in many ways. How do you like the Ruger version? I haven't shot one, nor do I know anyone personally who has one or shot one. I've been thinking about a 5" barrel version and the SR is one of the contenders. it surely...
No Longer Available in Plastic
I have a 2009 Buckmark Practical with the plastic base, which I too just discovered was cracked. Browning apparently realized this was a flawed design and no longer markets a replacement in plastic. It is a rather expensive replacement (since you need a new rear...
