S&W Response safety recall Feb 2024

That would be scary. Lucky he did not get hurt

    Your 'Rodney Dangerfield' guns.

It has a kick and is snappy, but it comes back on target really well. You can get decent rapid fire groups easily

    Your 'Rodney Dangerfield' guns.

I have the same gun in matte blue titanium. I love it as well. I used to carry it all the time when I lived in PA. It was also my choice to carry when walking to dog late a night

    Your 'Rodney Dangerfield' guns.

It reminds me of the Ruger P95

Wood and Blued Steel 9mm Carbine? - Henry Homesteader

How complicated was it to make one?

Wood and Blued Steel 9mm Carbine? - Henry Homesteader

I had no idea that they had an adapter for Beretta 92 mags

357 Magnum vs 5.56x45 in carbines

A JSP would hold together better than a JHP, as many designs will break apart or expand to rapidly resulting in less penetration. With a rifle length barrel a JSP should expand nicely, most likely better than it would with some shorter revolver barrels

357 Magnum vs 5.56x45 in carbines

JSP's would be a good choice

Nice! I didn't even know that they still made it in 454

Home Defense Firearm For A Woman

An older S&W model 10 would be a great choice. Simple to use, typically has a super smooth trigger pull, heavy enough to absorb some recoil but not that heavy

    Henry Revolver

I like the polished blue and brass myself. I would get one by I just had to get a new ac system for my home AND had to have it repaired. So excess money is a no go for a bit Edit: I meant to say AND had to have my house repiped

    NYC gun purchases

To be honest I didn't bother reading you post. It wasn't worth the effort.

    Henry Revolver

I guess I'm one of the odd people that like the looks of the Henry. I also don't understand what people are shocked that Henry made a revolver with an old school look when most of the guns that they make have an old school look

    NYC gun purchases

To add some context, neither of the 2 permits that I had allowed me to keep a loaded gun in my home or allow me to legally carry concealed.

    NYC gun purchases

As a former resident of NYC that went through the paperwork for the rifle/shotgun permit and the old target handgun permit, none of what you listed would make the city safer in any way. A "busy area" like the subway is where you actually need to carry. I know this cause I was mugged at gunpoint...

Study: an AR might send you to jail in SD case.

Here is a video showing a study where using an AR for SD puts you at greater risk of a jury conviction https://youtu.be/0gUcF5KhtQM?si=Hkc8xmC4JJSBYkG-

Banning semi-autos and magazines via taxation

It is an issue of the left vs the right. When Beto said hell yeah I want to take your AR15, every leftist at the debate (meaning the entire room) cheered like he was the Beatles. Stop pretending the left isn't wholly behind total gun control

    Maverick 88 SECURITY 12GA

I bought a FDE security Mav 88 with the 7 round tube a few years ago. It works great so far for the limited amount that I shoot it. I wanted a SD shotgun that was reliable and in expensive since it will spend most of the time waiting for a day that will hopefully never come
