I'd recommend a S&W 340pd or any of their 38s in a bodygaurd model, & check out this site. www.smartcarry.com , great CCW stuff;)

They do offer the model 617 8 3/8 barrel 10 shot but thats a SS finish, nice gun I own it shoots very well its a tack driver:)

I have a 340pd for CCW , a GP100. if I was going to buy a 357 MAG for target shooting it woukd be the S&W 686 4" barrel, the S&W are just a far better smoother gun than the tauras or rugers, TMO:)

shotshell presses I would recommend a MEC press maybe a grabber & then you can up grade if you dicide to continue with your reloading, maybe then go to a MEC 9000 they're auto indexing, very nice operation, good luck, good shooting, be SAFE;)

Berry's 200 SWC-OAL I load that rnd @ an oal of 1.275 auto rim( NO MOON CLIPS) for my S&W 625 4" brl with 5.3 grs of win 231 & cci large primer, it is one sweet load, hope this helps, Greg:)
