Picked up a lightly used bolt from eBay (of all places) for 70 bucks. Found nice bottom metal for a detachable mag for 50. Decided, thanks to ya'lls suggestions, that I will just shoot the 270 until I get a wild hair to mess with the barrel.

Ill be rebarreling and headspacing it myself. It is a pretty straight forward job and one of my good friends is does custom rifles for people on the side so he will be helpful in the case that I need assistance. My only cost will be for parts.
