But still, the Feds don't take on driver's license, marraige license, birth certificates, death certificates and any number of other state issued license and certificates. I don't believet they will attempt to take this on either. I'm sure that there are some politicians and buerocrats would...

There are also major differences in traffic laws in a lot of states. It was years and years before every state had right turn or red for instance but we didn't have to get a driver's license for every state when that happened. In South Dakota we allow kids to get driver's license as early as...

Okay someone explian this: "Article IV Section 1. Full faith and credit shall be given in each state to the public acts, records, and judicial proceedings of every other state. And the Congress may by general laws prescribe the manner in which such acts, records, and proceedings shall be...

What kind of pistol do you shoot for USPSA matches?

MattJoe I figure a new top end will cost about $700. I've not seen much of anything in locally here in the price range you've mentioned. I could get something like a Witness but those single action triggers have a LOT of take up. I have one as a matter of fact and my daughter shoots it. I...

What kind of pistol do you shoot for USPSA matches?

That's correct Troy, we shoot USPSA type matches. But don't adopt all of the rules. We are a USPSA affilated club and are listed on thier web site however. In the past we have put on sanctioned matches but to make them worth wild we have gotten together with other clubs and made it a state...

6 months and just sold his first knife!

Great looking piece of work. I would have perfered some type of hilt to keep you hand from slipping down the blade in certain situations but the workmanship looks exceptional. Post more pics of other works when they are available please!

Ahh, I don't think states have rights. States have powers and only people have rights. The states rights thing is part of the argument that the 2nd Amendment applies to states under the Bill of Rights. While I'm certainly interested in seeing this bill pass I personally have little hope...

What kind of pistol do you shoot for USPSA matches?

True but our club did not have and never has had a speperate division for that. We are small with only 25 to 30 members. We have maybe five really good shooters and the rest of us are dinkers. But we have a great deal of fun. The town I live in (or rather outside of) is only about 15K in...

Thanks for all the replies and input from everyone. Matt G- He maybe walked/staggered about 60 yards is all, but it was enough to get him out of sight in a draw. He certainly was a tough son of a gun though. My daughter shot four postion small bore for a couple of years and was 2nd in...

What kind of pistol do you shoot for USPSA matches?

When I moved here to South Dakota ten years ago I started shooting with the local gun club in USPSA style matches. I started out shooting single stack 1911. Obviously it was nearly impossible to be competitive with guns holding nearly three times as many rounds. Eventually I purchased a used...

Thanks for the info! I'm a little confused as to why they require it done this way. Storage space on the server I suppose. I'll check out the photobucket thing, I may have a few more to post some day. Thanks for your help.

If I understand the bill correctly, it doesn't give the federal goverment power over CCW but simply forces states to recognize other states license. Just like they do marriage license and death certificates. There is no power for the feds here. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks! I got batteries for the digital camera and took a few more and better pics but I still haven't figured out how to post them here. I appears that you have to have the pictures located somewhere on the internet. I've got two tags to fill by Sunday but it shouldn't be too hard. The deer...
