Dont do it You might want to know something......The R1 is a 1911 style , but alot of parts are not interchangeable with a regular 1911 but are proprietary only to Remington R1's. Thats why I didnt buy one. Get a Ruger SR 1911 instead...Its built AS a 1911 , not some factorys version OF a 1911...

My tumbler cost me ZERO to make I dont know all about store bought tumblers , but mine was made from a tupperware container , battery drill , and a couple inline skate wheels. It works good enough that when someone sees my reloads they cant believe it cost me.......White Rice.....lol I think...

I just wanted to throw this out there. The only tumbling media Ive ever used is.......WHITE RICE ! It cleans up even nasty brass quite good. The trick to it is DONT use any liquid cleaners or polishers.......things WILL get sticky ! Now it wont make your brass real shiny and brand new looking ...

Pukindog.....This is VERY interesting So in essence it is decocker only , springs back into fire mode ? I gotta check this out some more before I convert all 4 ! The inadvertent possibility of the safety being put on would then be completely alleviated ? This makes complete sense to me.

YUP.......been there Being new I tried them all ! Original consensus from friends and others was bigger was better......wrong ! I sold 2 .40's for guess what........9mm cougars....lol I love them , and 9mm today with HST 124gr will do the trick just fine......every time.

I had one..... I had one in 9mm. After comparing it side by side at the range with a Cougar 9mm multiple times , I sold it in favor of the Beratta(Stoeger) cougar 9mm ! I now own 4..........but thats just me. It was accurate , and light. Poly's just dont do it for me though.
