    imported ammo

Temporary? I would bet much of the current demand is temporary, as noted by other comments. But, with the millions of new firearms that have been sold recently, I would also expect that the base demand for ammo has risen. Why wouldn't that be the case?

    Mossberg 930 Jam-O-Matic

Did you add a mag extension to it? If so, you may have to trim the spring to make it feed correctly.

Probation for unlawful use of a firearm...In Chicago!

State of Union mention The article in the link mentions that the girl's parents are in DC to attend the State of the Union. Don't have to watch that speech to know what to expect. They probably don't even realize they are props for the speech.

    Kahr CM9, your thoughts?

I have a PM9 I've carried for years. It has been flawless. Fits in the pants pocket just fine. It has become my primary daily carry and has kept most of the others in the safe. I've been thinking of getting a CM9 just to have to backup the PM9. I haven't found another 9mm I like better.

Guns in storage - safety concern regarding maintenance

It does matter where you live, and the specifics of the storage. In a low humidity, desert environment, with the guns in a temperature controlled area, they should be fine for quite awhile. In a humid area, like the gulf coast, I would clean them more often. If you store them in a garage...

Oak Harbor, WA rejects motion to restrict carry in city council meeting

This post is very informative. I didn't realize Washington's preemption laws are what they are. Here, the City of Chelan has its council chambers and City Hall posted as "No Guns Zones." I'll have to bring that to their attention.

Could executive action cause loss of consigned firearms?

I completed all my pending transactions with dealers this weekend. I was chatting about it with my FFL and he did not know what would happen. I agree, it might be best to not have anything on consignment for a little while.

Could executive action cause loss of consigned firearms?

Here's the concern: If I had something like an AR15 at a gun store, consigned but for sale, that weapon is transferred to the gun store and is legally in their possession, not mine, at least in my state it is. If an executive action banned transfers to private individuals, tomorrow, of that...

    The ultimate pocket holster is...

Stays Put (http://www.concealmentspecialties.com/holsters.html). I used the DeSantis SuperFly for a few years and liked it. But the Stays Put draws better, stays in place better, is more comfortable and since it is closed on the end, it keeps lint out of my pistol. I've been using it for 4...
