I'd like to see someone try to tote an N frame S&W in a pocket, and make it disappear without printing. I guess Clint Smith is supposed to be the expert, and has come up with a way, but I'd almost have to call B.S. on that one....JMHO.

The problem is that they don't ANODIZE it, they COAT it. My 642-1 from 1996 is anodized, and after all these years and lots of pocket carry, it's just now starting to thin. Even at that, it looks like honest wear. When the coating peels on these new ones, it just makes the whole gun look cheap.

I have a 642 Centennial that I pocket carry often, but in work pants, the butt tends to stick out. Don't like tuckable holsters, so I usually throw my LCP in a pocket when I wear those pants. Reviving an old thread; where do you guys with the 69 series S&Ws get the grip adaptors to go on the 59 series mags to make them look "normal" in the 69 series gun? I've got a 6944, and I want a couple of 59 series mags to go in it, but only if I can make it look like they actually fit there.

Every 39-series S&W that I've ever had did the same thing. Think it's a design thing, rather than a flaw.
