I use Cascade dishwasher liquid when wet tumbling with pins. It has Dawn, Lemishine or something like it and some anti-spotting stuff (keep your glassware shiny stuff) and works pretty well. It is a little on the pasty side so I use hot water. If I had really dirty brass, I would probably do...
I tried to show my 50 year old son and he said it took too long and there was too much thinking involved. Funny thing is he doesn't seem to care how much his ammo costs so to each his own.
I use a regular USB battery pack. I have had mine for about three years and seem to recall there was an included cable. I have never used it with regular AA batteries. The battery pack works great. They sell one but there is nothing special about it. I think these battery packs are 5 or...
Looks like the same response I got a couple of years ago. I do not have a "newer" phone but following these steps got me working. I tried the app on my wife's older than mine android that had no network or blue tooth and the app worked. Once I added the Lab and saw that it worked, I added my...
I was drafted in 69 and asked for infantry and got my wish. Prior to that I had shot an old Remington bolt action 22 maybe three times. Basic training was not geared for infantry. I think we went to the range three or four times with the M-14 which I really enjoyed shooting.
A week or so...
I have the same issue. I power the Lab off and back on. Seems to work fine in the garage but then one it has recorded data, then I cannot get the app to start a new string.
I haven't had that exact problem, but I tried off and on for weeks to get my Samsung to connect. I finally ended up deleting all my blue tooth devices, restarted the phone then tried to add the Labradar and it worked like a charm and still does. Then I added the other devices.
There may be...
I cannot verify the truth on this, but I have seen others post that the Lee FCD will somehow expand the diameter of cast bullets. Maybe try the gauge after seating with no crimp step. I use the Lee FCD so I am not knocking it but I only load plated or jackets bullets and have had no issues.
I use the Redding profile crimp for 357. It seems to be a modified taper with a micro adjustment. Can use it with a cannelure. Not cheap but seems well made.
You could take a dry erase marker and mark up a piece of brass and run it through the Lee sizer. I would think most of the marker would be removed. May not tell you anything but the price is right - cheap.
Henry Big Boy .357 Magnum here. I have wanted one for years and just found a 2015 model that has never been fired and still hasn't so I cannot speak of how well it shoots. I know a lot of people don't like the Henry loading tube but I imagine after ripping off 10 rounds, I might want to pause...
Not really on topic but I will share what I observed in Nam. I have seen the standard military M-16 round go right through a man and he kept fighting. I have also see that same round inflict massive damage and the man goes down. Same with AK rounds coming the other way.
