Why all the craze of single stacks ?

As a guy with short stubby fingers the current concealed carry market is a dream come true. They're finally making things I can hold properly, and I'll gladly give up extra capacity for that.

    NAA Mini-revolver design

There is no reason they couldn't make a bigger version, but what would be the point? A single action solid frame spur trigger revolver was a viable pocket gun in 1880, but it wasn't competing against modern semiautomatic pocket pistols. The reason the NAA offerings survive in the market now is...

Ruger New Model 3" SP 101 in .327 Federal Magnum

I put the Hogue grips on mine a couple of weeks ago. My four fingers fit, and I appreciate the palm swell.

    Thoughts on .327 SP-101?

I went to my LGS to look for one of the new Sp101s, but then I saw a used one with the windage adjustable rear sight, so I took that instead. Initial observations: First, recoil with 85 grain .327 magnum rounds isn't bad at all, but the wrong grip gets your knuckle rapped. Second, .32 Long is...

    Thoughts on .327 SP-101?

I've been waiting for the 3" version for a while. To me it's an ideal carry length, I'll be getting one in January.

Do you really think there is that much advantage to carrying a full sized pistol?

I'm curious. How many LEOs carry a full sized duty gun when they're off duty?

NRA is for the 2A infringement of those on any 'terror watch list'. What? Really?

So, if I understand this correctly, a person can be denied their Constitutional rights on the basis of a suspicion, but permitted to attempt to prove their innocence after the fact in the name of due process? Guilty until proven innocent seems to turn things backwards. Count me as someone in...

    Why .45acp?

I chose a .45acp Vaquero over a .45 lc for the sake of ammo availability and variety.

What would you ask a gun mfgr to build?

    I'd like a 3" adjustable sighted J frame with 6 shots in ,32 magnum.

    S&W 31 no dash 3 inch

Congratulations on your find. I've been keeping my eyes open for one of those for a while now. All I seem to see are 2" models, and I'm holding out for 3". I guess there's always tomorrow.

What Constitutes A "Full Sized" Handgun.

Is there a designation for something bigger than full sized, like the old "horse pistol" that was too big for belt carry?

I've Lost My Passion For The 2A

I guess I don't see why your feelings are more important than the rights of Americans.

What are some unpopular opinions you have about guns?

I don't think Colt revolvers are all that special.

A wish for the rebirth of classic pocket revolvers

I wouldn't want a single action spur trigger revolver for carry purposes, but I'd love a small DA revolver. I've heard that part of the problem is making the small internal parts strong enough to hold up over the long term, and that's why so many of the old H&R and IJ revolvers have timing and...

    Shoulder Holster Experience/Models

Didn't the L.A. detectives carry crossdraw under their suits? Or was that just Joe Friday?

Would you carry this? Four barrel derringer edition

I'd be interested if the trigger pull was decent. My great-grandfather carried a four-barreled Sharps that's been passed down to me. The mainspring broke from too many kids playing with it back when my Dad was young, but I've always been interested in the concept. If it's small enough to slip...

    Sig P238

My daughter's p238 jammed on every magazine until we sent it back to the factory. They replaced the extractor, and it's been 100% reliable since. I enjoy shooting the little pistol, it's got great sights and little recoil. I'm trying to come up with a good reason to buy one of my own, but so far...

Selling off my collection - trying to "cut the cord"

A few years ago I decided to get rid of anything I hadn't fired in over a year. Some went to family and some went in trade for guns I would actually shoot. So the herd's thinner, but more active.

    Need Some Sig P238 Schooling

My daughter carries hers cocked and locked. It did have a reliability issue when new, but after the factory replaced the extractor it became a solid performer. I've fired it a time or two and found it to have easily visible sights, low recoil, and good accuracy. I may end up getting one for myself.

    Opinion: S&W 3906

No experience with the 3906, but I love my 3913. It's a soft shooter, reliable and accurate.
