I was not home....
Wife was home with the kids...
Knock at the door.....
Wife opens the door to find three ATF agents with hands on their guns ready to draw.......
Apparantly they aren't too up to date with their intel. They were looking for the guy that we purchased our house...
Only one. I was a Sophomore in Highschool. Two friends and I being too young to drive walked to a local dance where three schools were invited. I don't know whether we talked to the wrong girls or what, but afterwards we got jumped. We were walking back accross a soccer field. I got...
.357 Sig should have more stopping power.
You could always go for the best of both worlds and get the XD40 with a .357 Sig conversion barrel. Twice the fun.
I have watched the movie Platoon several times, and each time I notice that the guy with the scars on his face has an M4 style collapsable stock on his AR. I wondered when these came out, and if indeed they were in use as far back as Vietnam?
I think since I got into reloading I might as well try .357 Sig. I'll just get an aftermarket barrel for my Glock 20. I expect it to be a fun caliber to shoot. I am already on my way since the last batch of .45 ACP brass I bought off ebay had 2 .357 Sig casings in it.
I chatted the other day with a gentleman who builds custom guns, is a Glock Armorer, etc... etc...
He looked over one of my guns which I had just shot at the range. He noted the powder residue in my gun. He said that he believes guns stay cleaner if you don't use oils, lubricants, and...
Sounds like you might want to go with the PCR. It has an alloy fram like the P-01, a little different sights, and a trigger that is shaped a little different than the P-01. No accessory rail. It does have a decocker.
You can use Hogue grips on a CZ compact, but they require some creative modification. They don't make any specific for the Compact, so you have to buy the full size ones and cut them down.
My first thought in looking at that, is how could you draw quickly with that thing???
I am an IWB fan. I am tall and "husky" ;) That seems to be the best way for me.
I was all set to get a G20 in OD just to be different. I found a used one in black, the price was right so I had to put it on layaway.
I like the OD green ones.
another vote for shooting it. You will miss out on a lot of fun if you store it away. Buy a couple of extra recoil springs to stow away and when the time is right buy a case or two of ammo to stow away. Maybe an extra main spring. But I believe you could shoot that gun all you want and it...
I always clean and lube. I like to get a feel for the gun by taking it apart, spending some time, bonding with it. Maybe go for a stroll on the beach, get to know each other. Then it's time for the range.
