AR-10 builders ... please step inside!

I'm personally in love with my Velocity Trigger, 3lbs and straight trigger. I picked mine up for 130 with shipping. My friend has a Giessele something and he likes it a lot but after trying mine, he's looking around for something better than my Velocity. :D The reset is short, the break is...

What caliber do you load the most for and why?

.357MAG is what I load the most. Because my Lever action rifle shoots it really well and it's currently the only caliber I'm set up to load for. lol

    Missouri Bullet Company

If I remember right, they're doing casting in larger quantities but at the sacrifice of only doing a handful of bullets types at a time. Every once in a while they switch bullet/caliber.

Ramshot Competition & 124grain Lead RN

I know not everyone trusts online recipes but this is from Accurate's website. http://www.accuratepowder.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/WP_LoadSpec_7-2-13.pdf I think Ramshot Comp. was on the fifth page.

    Smart Reloader Nano Tumbler

I have one for small batches of cases. I've left it running for 4 hours before and haven't had a single problem. It's not the best but it does more than I need it to.

    What happen to this RELOAD?

I've found quite a few 9mm and .45 bullets on the longer distance ranges during cease fires. I've heard people say it's because it was a light load and just didn't penetrate the backstop(I've only found them at places with dirt back stops btw) very deeply so it eventually came out. Of all the...

    How not to crimp

LOL! I did that too, looked almost exactly the same only with nickle cases and lead bullets. I ended up needing to back out the die a few turns. Fixed my problem. I also eased the pressure on the lever and checked how it was going once in a while.

    Handloading Mishaps?

I've had two mistakes, and only one of those was 100% from not being entirely focused on the task at hand. I seated a primer backwards, I wasn't paying attention and adjusted my grip which caused a primer to flip. It didn't go off thankfully and I keep that case(with a dead primer and enough...

Do you remember your first handload firing?

I should, it was only a few months ago, lol. It was a 125g LSWC or 125g LTC over IMR 700-X and a Remington Small Pistol Magnum Primer in a .357 Remington Nickel case out of Rossi R92 lever action rifle that only 50 rounds of .38 Special through it. I remember being so scared that I only loaded...

    357 Mag won't chamber

I have an M92 as well and was getting issues chambering .357s too. When I lengthened the round(still below the max OAL and still in the cannelure) the rounds chambered fine. I'd measure but I don't have any loaded right now and I doubt you're using the same powder and bullet as I am. Some...

    Leverevolution powder

 Thank you. Glad someone could clear that up for me in a very succinct way.

    Leverevolution powder

I love 300-MP in .357 R92 but I was told that Leverevolution was faster than. I could have miss understood what the reloader(does the reloading for the range) at my local indoor range said though. 300-MP is great but it's hard to find decent load data for it.

    A super new reloaders procedures

There was a seemingly valid reason why I was chambering a round but I can't think of what it could have even been. :uhoh: I'm working in batches of five for a few reasons. I don't have much brass at the moment and I don't get to shoot nearly as much as I'd like to(averaging out to about 200...

    A super new reloaders procedures

So I was wondering if you guys could look over my loading procedures and see if there's anything I should change before I get too set in my ways. I haven't even loaded a hundred rounds yet so I'm still VERY new to this. Cases are already sized and primed Check my scale(Lee Safety Scale) Run...

296 / H110 still published with different data

I don't know if it's true or not but I was told that it was because 296 was around awhile ago and Hogdgon changed the formula for it when they bought Winchester Powder(or however that all went down). So Some loading manuals still use the same data for the older formula. It makes sense and...
