Where are reloading components available (Not a Discussion Thread)

I have the same problem. The issue though is they won't ship to those states. So if someone got it for you, and had to ship it to you, the hazmat fee would be doubled. For me, that usually makes it not cost effective.

I picked up a couple pounds of Unique at Bass Pro in Savannah, GA a couple days ago. First pistol powder I've found there in well over a year.

I have shot quite a few of the RMR 2nds and not had any problems with them. All the ones that I have received look like they have water spots on them that you can wipe off if you want to. Definitely can't beat them for the price.

    Win 296 in 10mm??

As far as your velocities being lower than published, it could have a little to do with the temperature. I doubt that you have the same problem as I do being that you are in Wisconsin and I am in South Georgia.

Georgia Arms had a great selection of one pounders at the gun show in Savannah but only had a few 4 and 8 pounders. Fair prices as well.

Stavman.. What type of chrono do you use and what are your thoughts on it? I'm currently in the market for one. Thanks.

    9mm frangible load data

After a few other random tests around the house ( shooting into dirt, wood, etc.), I don't feel like these bullets perform like I thought they would. I don't know if this is a bad lot or maybe some defective rounds, but they don't seem to break apart as they should. Shooting the above mentioned...

I just came across this page and I believe it is fairly new. Nosler has published load data for their bullets. //http://www.nosler.com/load-data/ It's pretty good in my opinion.

Cabelas.com has been getting a lot of lee 3 and 4 die sets but they go fast. I've been on there a lot looking for a 380 lee set.

    9mm frangible load data

I did a quick test the other night. I set up 4 1" pieces cypress wood spaced 1" apart and shot from 5 yards. I expected they would break at some point but they did not. The first one went through all 4 boards and was never found. I added a board and the next shot lodged in the last board. I...

I have some that have been used 8 times and almost all are just as good as new. Just keep inspecting closely.

    9mm frangible load data

Just tested some with 4.3 and 4.6. Both work fine in my Ruger SR9. I like the 4.6 better as the 4.3 seems pretty light. Im sure they could handle a little hotter load but im fine with them 4.6. I load with a lee classic turret press with the pro auto disk. The c.o.l. was 1.150. With the...

    9mm frangible load data

I'm glad you posted the 115 gr data you used. I'm loading the same RMR frangible right now with hp-38. I'm going to start around 4.3 and work up from there. I'll let you know what happens.

I also ordered some of these 45 "seconds". Mine arrived and appeared to have water spots on some of them. I threw them in my tumbler and they came out blemish free. I have ordered a lot from Rocky Mountain and have been very pleased with their product.

Cabela's still has a lot of powders in stock. Probably because you can only order two of any item per person per day. $20 hazmat fee is cheaper than anyone else I've found since I can't ever find anything in a local store.
