BDS,

I also have 70 WW .38 Special Brass. Cleaned and deprimed. End date Oct 19, 2014.
I hope to have more items to PIF as time allows for me to go through my reloading stuff.
Interested in the bullets from RMR. I ordered bullets and brass from RMR on 08-25-2014 before I knew about the 5% off. Below is the pasted email I received from rmr confirming my order. If i need to add more info just let me know. I also ordered from Xtreme bullets, midway (unfortunately...
Ah man. I will have to start checking THR more often. Placed an order late last night and then read the post after ordering. Oh well, there will ALWAYS be more bullets to buy and shoot. Thanks longdayjake.
I bought several pounds of powder (IMR 4350,4895,4064,4831,BLC2) last night at an estate auction. VERY good price. All powders passed the smell test so after church today I loaded a few with each powder. All went BANG! Very good day indeed.
I have 2 Lee single stage, Lee Classic Turrent, Pro 1000 and numerous other Lee items. They have served the purpose very well over the past few years. The only Lee item I did not care for was the scale.
5k lpp, 5k spp, 7500 srp, 2500 lrp. 10k .223 brass, 5k 45, 9, 40 brass. 50 to 60lbs of powder (asstd flavors). More bullets and boolits than I can list. Several thousand rounds of factory loaded ammo as well. The late 80s and early 90s taught me a lesson. ;)
I found this company here in NC and am considering ordering some of their cast bullets. Has anyone here had any dealings, opinions, quality, etc?
These are the bullets I am considering: 40/10mm 180 Grain Round Nose Flat Point Bevel Base Hensley & Gibbs 659BB Design, as well as the 230gr lrn.
I have a second gen 17 and have shot several thousand rounds of lrn through it. I am a stickler for a clean weapon so I haven't experienced leading through mine. MBC bullets are what I shoot. Seem to hold the best pattern for me. Just my personal experience.
9 1/2 weeks on my order. I contacted them after 8 weeks and they said it would be shipping soon. Long time to wait, but definately worth it. Already loaded all but 50 or so. Shot all but the 50 or so. I will be ordering from them again even though the wait was way too long.
Thanks for all the responses and offers. I was able to find some brass at a LGS! Couldn't believe that they actually had any components in stock. :what:
Recently purchased a .380 and am in need of brass. I scrounge all my other brass from the 2 police ranges near me (no public ranges are close). Unfortunately, no .380 to be had at the ranges. Where can I find good quality .380 brass.
I have been buying a box of factory ammo on the even weeks of the month for the past 23 or 24 years. On the odd weeks I buy reloading components. Stockpiling, no. Preparing yes. I didnt start reloading until this month. I bought in anticipation of times like we just went through. Not...
I have access to a couple Police ranges in the area and pick up all the brass. Been buying bullets and boolits, powder and primer for years in anticipation of reloading. Bought equipment earlier this year. Brass free, all other components have been paid for many years over. Almost free.:D
