In private gun stores around West Michigan, 45 acp is more than twenty dollars a box. 9mm is at least 14 a box for basic 115 grain.
Don't know how that stacks up to other locations.
Was hemming and hawing between two brands of 9mm I wanted to buy and came back to the website this morning and found the case price for both brands raised by twenty some dollars.
Are 9mm prices starting to go back up? I hope not. Will the current Middle East situation affect 9mm prices...
I used to get Fiocchi 9mm from Shaw arms in the red box from Italy. It was on the clean side, but now all I see if the blue range dynamics. Maybe the red box is no longer imported into the US?
A year or so ago i bought a bunch of Fioochi that was made in Italy. It shot well and was on the clean side.
Just to be clear: I understand guns need to be cleaned after a range session, but I do not see any reason to shoot ammunition that is more dirty than other brands and will blow...

Good to hear, eisenhower. I have shot the P210 and it was really nice and fits well into my hand. I just want to make sure it is as well made as the other Sig I had but stupidly sold.
Like everything else in life, I guess it just depends on the peoples' personalities. One local store I go into, a lot of the flies are old guys who the owners know from town. A few are old guys whose wives have died and they are alone so they come in for some company.
Another store I go...
I would need at least a dozen positive transactions. I would also look at the ad for photos that are clear and focus on possible problem areas. I would write the person and see if they respond and how they respond. Also, check out the reviews.
Some times a person may have a few bad...
I know the new Sig P210 Target has been around a while now and I have read threads on it but I am wondering how it has held up for anyone who has used it a lot over the last few years. I am just trying to find out about mechanical reliability and maybe hear from anyone with trouble or...
First, link where I heard about linatex:
https://www.global.weir/products/product-catalogue/linatex-target-backing/
I guess I was not clear. Sorry about that. My range is looking for something to hang on a frame so that targets can be pinned to it but the material the targets are pinned...
The pistol range I go to has a four by eight foot wooden frame that we tack a foam sheet onto. Then there is a large sandy berm behind it. Obviously the foam gets shot up pretty quickly.
Online I found linatex. Do you simply buy a 4 by 8 sheet and tack it up on the frame and then attach...
My grandfather supposedly used his revolver to shoot a pheasant as it flew out of a cornfield. The wadcutter went down the bird's throat and digestive tract and exited out the rear end without hurting the bird.
At least that is what my uncle tells me happened. ;)
