    BSA 7mm magnum

Got my eye on one. Is it a good choice?

    Got a Ruger MKIII

Guess who kicked my butt for several hours during the disassemble/assembly. Yeah, I separated the barrel and grip frame. I won't do that again. I do have the satisfaction of having accomplished it on my own... With the help of several forums. I bookmarked those suckers!

    Ruger .357 unfluted, got one?

Oooooh I want to hold one! I am a big fan of the caliber, and put an unfluted cylinder on it... Stick a fork in me, I'm done. Wondering if y'all can give me a little, or big, review. I'm seeing them on the selling websights, but no really good shooting reviews. I'm thinking of selling a rifle...

    Mauser 1910

Second time to the range since purchase. First time experienced some failure to fire with Aguila ammo. This time the Remington .25ACP - no failures. I am happy with my 100 year old gun!

    Mauser 1910

Had a few light strikes or maybe hard primers when I shot My latest acquisition. Decided to get the service Pak from Wolff. They say it is for the 1910/1934 pistols. Well.... I think there were some changes from my model and the one they used to make the springs for. I mostly wanted the...

    Aguila ammo hard primers?

Took my 100-year-old Mauser model 1910 to the range today. Had to search for .25 acp, third place had some - Aguila brand. Had 6 light strikes out of a box of 50... Or were they hard primers? Anybody have trouble with that brand? I know Wolff has springs for the weapon, including the striker...

    Pawn shop lucky...

This is the factory it was made in... Guess the maker?

    Traded 3 guns for this...

Was very impressed with my LGS. They priced the trade-ins fairly when they put them in the case. I have been to the range twice in three days to shoot the TRP. I love it!

People who think they are "authorities"

Could we just all not speak as if we are authorities... If we are not. To me it's like someone who speaks strongly and then breathes in rapidly though their nose... As if putting punctuation on their grandiose "I are smart" statements that are full of bull. Just enough knowledge to be dangerous...

Got me a frontier scout you low down pole cat...

Dates to 1960, barrel says .22 Magnum.. So I'm guessing it is not one of the Dual Cylinder units, just WMR. Blued all over, not Duo-tone. Black plastic grips. And... And... And... Of course it is near perfect.:) I put it on layaway just to snatch it up... Gonna get to pick it up in a few...

Beretta 950 BS.. Big name, little gun...

To me, buying guns is like buying vegetables... What looks good and fresh today? Well, this one did today! In the third pawn I stopped at - surfing small towns around my city. I believe this pistol has never been fired because the feed ramp is totally unmarked! I love the engineering on...

    My first Ruger Automatic

    Can't wait to shoot it!

    New pawn shop find

Here it is! What can you tell me about it?

    My first 1911

I can't believe I waited so long to get one. I was sent from one pawn to another that "has lots of guns." I just cleared my mind and let the chi wash over me... This is what I found, or, uh... What found me!

    150-88XXX serial Security Six

Here ya go with my latest pawn shop find! Mechanically "new", lots of holster shine. Bright bore and chambers. I'm going to see if I can get some provenance on this pistol. I'm guessing it was in one holster for 2, maybe 3 decades to get this kind of artful wear patina.

    75 B group

Gun is still warm... 200 rounds through my new, ultra-shiny, stainless-steel CZ 75B. Here is a group of 15, 7 yards, standing two-hand hold. 15 shots in 10 seconds.

    Instinctive shooting

I have gotten to the point where I am "two eyes open", focus on the front dot, area-shooting with speed. It took probably 1500 rounds... Shot through 8 or 10 different guns... Lots of "two to the body, 1 to the head"... But I feel like I'm there. Now if I do that whole thing 3 more times... And...

    Pawn shop find

Smith and Wesson 66-3, dates to 1992, like brand new, came with a Don Hume holster (also like new). $479 plus tax! I'm gonna shoot it later today! I feel lucky to have it!

    Tristar/Canik t120 desert sand

Shut the hell up. $329 for this gun at Academy through the end of the month. What a value. Just stupid... Stupid GOOD!

    Canik canik canik

I can not say enough about this pistol. Shot it for the second time today. Functioned flawlessly with some Remington green box cheapo from Academy. Canik Shark 55 C, chrome finish. Let my buddy who works at the range shoot it... He put me to shame with his group. His mouth was hanging open as he...
