    Why not Benchmark for 223?

I would love to see this load data. I have lots of great bullets and lots of Benchmark but am running very low on my Varget. I only have the Nosler #14 manual and Benchmark is completely absent for 223 loads in this manual.

    Why not Benchmark for 223?

I've got a bunch loaded up but won't get to the range until next weekend. I'm going skydiving tomorrow.

    Why not Benchmark for 223?

I use Varget with my 60gr VMax. I don't remember how I came by Benchmark I tried H335 first. H335 was too fluid and ended up all over everything. I'm starting to load some 55gr jacketed boat tails with the Benchmark tonight.

    Why not Benchmark for 223?

Looks like Benchmark is going to be it for range fodder for awhile then.

    Why not Benchmark for 223?

Walkalong, I can't believe I missed it but Benchmark is #80 on the burn rate chart and H335 is #81. Hah. I started buying Benchmark instead of h335 because H335 found it's way all over my bench and my presses but Benchmark is so easy to work with.

    Why not Benchmark for 223?

Thanks RC. I have seen the data, just haven't heard of that many people using Benchmark for 223.

    Why not Benchmark for 223?

Without sounding like a butt-head, this thread is not about what your favorite powder is for loading 223. I have Varget for that. What I'd like to know is if there is a reason you wouldn't use Benchmark for loading your 223? I've got 13.5 pounds of it and thousands of 223 I can load with it if...

    Home Range Etiquette

I live in Las Vegas. I've got millions of acres to shoot as I see fit right outside of town. I've got a 5 star range to go to for bench work. But when I retire I'm going to Abilene. Generally, outside of town on private acreage people can shoot if they keep the round inside their own property...

    FINALLY - Plenty of .22

I've got to admit I just haven't been shooting mine. That's why I have some, mostly from just after the 2009 fleecing. But I damn sure haven't been standing in any lines either.

    Static electricity & primers

My bench is in my office in bone dry Las Vegas. I use my desk chair when I reload. No issue at the bench but my desk is a steal and glass corner unit and it would fry me on a regular basis. I bought a 14 guage, 8 ft extension cable, busted the blades off the male side and cut/spliced/soldered a...

    Recall: Remington 700 & Model 7

I got 3 letters from Remington today. One for each 700 I've owned though 2 I no longer have. I do have a second XMP trigger though.

I have all the manuals. I enjoy cross referencing as a pass time and they look good on my shelf.

howdy Im new to this and don't want to blow anything up so I am asking first

It sounds to me that you have confused the .49cc hole in the auto disc for the "#49 hole". There is no #49 hole. It is a hole that has the volume of just under one half of a cubic centimeter. The numbers on the disc are not about weight, they are about space/volume. look closely and you will see...
