I have no trouble with pistol powder as I use W231 and WSF and ball powders are pretty easy to deal with. IMR 4350 and IMR 4064 and IMR 4895 some of the more difficult powders to deal with. What really surprises me is that no one made mention of the Omega Trickler. When loading stick powder I...
The last interaction I had was about a month ago with RCBS and it was most disheartening as it took four days to get a return call. And in that time I had already returned the product I had trouble with which I felt was inferior.
RCBS Quick Change powder measure
I tried calling RCBS today and was put on hold for about 15 minutes and then an operator told me their was nobody there to take my call. At that point I thanked her and decided to return it and I will try a Redding powder measure and hopefully they are of better...
F. Guffy,
Thank you for your help. I will call RCBS in the morning and hopefully it will be the solution I've been looking for and the parts are available. I knew this was the place to get an answer. Best Regards and thanks again.

There is a lot of side play (1/16") in a new powder measure I just bought and I wonder if this is a common trait with this powder measure. If it is a common trait can anybody tell me how you dealt with the issue? I did a search and found nothing indicating there is an issue with measure. There...
Mine must be a different model??
My two UniFlow measures have a 'Stepped' bottom surface--you can not turn upside down for a press fit into the base??
Mine is a different size at the top and is nowhere near going to be pressed into the bottom.
Now that I know it's a press fit I can see that the best answer is to replace it. There are some issues I need to address with a die that needs polished and now is as good a time as any to get my problems resolved. Thank you all for your input.
My hopper has been loose and now has come off. I can't see where it has had an adhesive applied and wonder if anyone else has had this problem and if so how did you address it? Thanks in advance.
If your looking for a powder for both .270 and 7MM Mag. IMR 4320 or IMR 4350 will take care of both calibers very well. Google will find you all kinds of safe alternatives made available by many of the manufactures of powders on the web.
3 to 4 hole conversion
Thank you all for your responses. I bought the Lee 1000 sight unseen and was told it looked like it was brand new and it indeed does. When I received it, it was in a box and the head wasn't on it and I didn't realize there were only three holes in the head. Never the...
I recently bought a Pro 1000 for the purpose of loading 45 ACP. A friend of mine who had never loaded before had bought a Lee load master to reload 40 S&W and he was very happy with his new purchase and I thought he had bought a 1000. I now have just found out that you can buy a kit to convert...
Don't ever forget those who gouged and took advantage when supply's were short. I saw an individual on Craigslist that was asking 15.00 per hundred...FIRM for SP primers. (See below)...
I just opened 2 new bags of Winchester 243 cases and it seems to me like they could use some quality control seeing as these cases are 2.032 in length out of the bag instead of 2.045. As they say, "close but no cigar". Using Nosler 55gr FBSP I'll try and seat them to obtain an overall length of...
Buying American
IMR4063, IMR4320 and IMR4350 is made in Canada and packaged in USA.
Bullseye and Blue Dot are both made and packaged in USA.
I do believe in buying American and do so within reason every opportunity I get. I don't want to buy junk from China or anywhere else and I won't buy...
