I have seen a show (Sighting in with Shooting USA?) focusing on the CCI plant in Idaho. They indicate the plant churns out 4 million 22 rimfires a day. I can understand the higher consumption leading to periodic stock outs but 4 million each day are going somewhere. I would expect to see...
Despite my calls and emails I see my representative turned his back and voted yes.
Has anyone tried a town hall approach where a representative would need to communicate his support for legislation to those he represents? I think most politicians are cowards who would do anything to stay...
I spent the time emailing my reps also.
Does anyone ever get a response from them? I wonder if there is an auto delete button on anything related to guns.
Sorry for causing the argument on the topic but my second question looks like it has been long forgotten.
I still would be interested if the guns other than the 1911 have a design that locks up the firing mechanism if the slide is not fully forward. It is my understanding that the Sig is...
I see everyone has a strong opinion. Glocks you either love them or hate them.
By out of battery I assume you mean the slide does not go all the way forward and the firing pin will release. My Glock 34 will with the slide slightly pulled back and so does my Beretta 90-TWO. So I guess both...
Everytime I see the Kaboom feature of the Glock discussed my trigger finger starts to get nervous. I have a Glock 34 with about 4000 rounds through it. It has a diet of reloaded ammo which is recycled 8 times before going to the recycle bin. The only problem I have had is occasional stove...

Tom
I recently purchased a Pact chronograph with infra red sensors for use in a indoor range. I have had little to no success in getting any kind of measurements from the unit.
I had even shut off the lights above the chronograph and it measured 2 out of every 5 shots in the string.
Is there...
I am starting to review some of the rules for pistol competition.
Requirements are very specific and I don't want to buy a gun which is cannot be used.
Is there any reference which identifies by competition type which out of the box guns are acceptable?
I would like to try a wide...
Looking at the IDPA rule book it says the pistol must fit into a box with the dimensions of 8 3/4 x 6 x 1 5/8. The Elite at 9.45 is too big. So is the Mark 23. The Glock 17L and 24 also are too big at 8.85.
I guess the Expert at 8.74 inches just makes it.
Good to know before you make...
