Beautiful old target rifle ( based on a Martini?)

Shuetzen is FUN! We have several matches at our club throughout the year and there are a few Stahl Martinis that show up to shoot.

    69gr SMK/.223/Varget

24.0 of Varget under a 69 SMK gives me dime sized groups out of my 20 inch 1x9 bushmaster. 24.5 of Varget under a 69 SMK gives me under dime sized groups out of my 26inch 1x9 Remington 700P.

    Low pressure loads for 30-06

I've made up gallery loads for my 03A3 using a 150 grain flatbased bullet over 20 grains of IMR4227. It works very well. 1 1/2 groups at 100 yds. Another friend on mine shot this same load out at 200 and turned in a respectable score with it. CJC

A 30-30 case is what I use to trickle powder. It holds plenty of powder, meters nicely and the rimmed base lets it sit securely on the loading bench. Seems to be easier and quicker than the regular factory tricklers. CJC

    700 LTR

I have a 700P in .223. Bought it for $739 2 years ago. I shoot it in 200 yd offhand matches throughout the year and do well with it. The 1x9 twist shoots 53 SMKs and 69 SMKs very well (sub MOA). I had the trigger worked by a local smith and it's down to about 1 1/2 lbs. The only change I'd...
