For Christmas, I'm thinking of buying myself a Rossi Single Shot 30-06/12GA or 223/12GA combo. I've not heard much about the Rossi single shots. I know the H&R, NEF and TC single shots are all considered good rifles. Does anyone have any experience with the Rossi rifles?

I'm looking at getting a Savage 99 in 300 Savage for my wife. The one problem is the cost of ammo. From what I've seen, even the brass can be a little on the high side. Can I take once-fired 308 brass and reform it for 300 Savage? If it is possible, what are the steps I would follow?

I'm of 2 minds about this. On one hand, it is his property and he should be able to do what he wants (within reason). On the other hand, if this is a good ruling, the judge felt he was intentionally scaring away the deer and that affected people not on his property.
