Well I'm, 6'-6", so I can carry my M29 8 3/8 in my old Bianchi X-15, but only with a jacket of some kind. That clam-shell is more for security than fast draw.
I'd love to carry my M24 3-inch RB, except that it's too darn valuable! Bought it new; case-candy and all...
