    Thinking about selling

Hey all, I’ve been collecting firearms for the better part of 25 years now. Been thinking of downsizing by selling off about 15-20 pieces. What’s the best avenue to get the most money, without a lot of hassle? I don’t typically sell, just always buy lol.

Shooting 9mm Handguns - Which was the Most Accurate

Most handguns are more accurate than we can shoot them, so it comes down to what you can shoot the best. And for me, it’s my Walther PPQ. Superb ergonomics and a sweet trigger with a very positive reset.

    1892 25-20 Takedown

The picture quailty kind of sucks, but the bore is actually nice. Its a dark bore, but has strong rifling. It looks like some idiot at one point used the muzzle as a hammer. Its got a couple nasty burrs. Would facing off about a 1/16 to an 1/8" hurt the value of it, if it was done right?

    1892 25-20 Takedown

Oh no... I wouldn't think about doing it myself

    1892 25-20 Takedown

Yeah. The good thing is it's a takedown model. The barrel comes right off. I wondered about countersinking it just enough to get the nics and burrs out?

    1892 25-20 Takedown

Picked this up at a gun show the other day. Overall its in really good shape for being 99 years old. The only concern for me is some damage at the muzzle. My question is, should i see about fixing it or leave it as is? If i should fix it, what are some options? I don't want to take away it value...

    7.62x54r ammo price

That's been the going rate for a while now. It's only .20 a round. Pretty cheap in my book for a high-powered rifle!

MAS 49/56 Firing Pin A Weak Point???

I just bought one of these a couple weeks ago in the 7.5 French. Can't wait to go out and shoot it! Seems like a well built machine. Ammo was a little tough to find. Had to try about 5 different gun shops before i found any. Bought the only two boxes of PPU they had. Been wondering if slam...

    Remington 722 in 222

Not hard to find factory loads where i live. Most everyone besides walmart stocks it. Common brands are Hornady, Winchester, PPU. Cheapest is $8, highest is $18

    CZ 527...What Caliber?

I have a 527 in 222 and love it! Its my go-to coyote killer. I will admit that i wasn't overly impressed with the accuracy when i first got it. I noticed the barrel wasn't fully floated like it was supposed to be. I sanded the channel out a bit and while i had it apart, i went ahead and glass...

    Blemishes on Model 70 Win

I guess if it gets worse, i'll just get it reblued. Nothin a couple hundred wouldn't fix.

    Blemishes on Model 70 Win

I don't store my firearms in cases. I keep everything in a humidity controlled safe.... It is not rust spots covered up with oil. That i do know

    Blemishes on Model 70 Win

Its greyish in color though. Almost looks as it was caused by overspray from something that faded the bluing maybe. Kinda aggravates me. Its such a nice rifle! The only thing i have put on it is CLP or remoil. Could it be that getting the barrel hot from shooting with oil on the barrel caused...

    Blemishes on Model 70 Win

I bought this used FN model 70 Ultimate Shadow a while back. today i got it out to "fondle" it and noticed a bunch of these water like spots on the barrel. I tried cleaning them off, thinking they were water spots, but no luck. Does anyone know what caused this? Could it be bad factory bluing?
