I have a full size Tirant and on a USPc it's a little long for my liking. I don't shoot my compact suppressed very much for that reason. The thing I don't like about the KAC cans is how heavy they are. If you want performance get the Tirant/Osprey.

POI shift is common.
Adjustable POI shift compensation was one factor in settling on the YHM Cobra. The piston/LID is hex shaped and can be indexed in six different positions to bring suppressed POI as close to unsuppressed POI as possible.
I have never heard ANYTHING positive about Hi-Point, including on the reliability issue. The advice I gave to an aquaintance was to give it to someone he didn't like, I would suggest you do the same.
I'd say keep talking to them, but as soon as things get heated on either side of the discussion, just walk away. Tell them that you also want to enjoy shooting trap and skeet, two perfectly safe games. Tell them when you do bring it home you'll keep it fully disassembled and locked up...
I started to reload when I was shooting a lot more then I'm currently able to do. I got into it to save money which I did. It gave me more money to put back into reloading so now I can reload for all the weapons I own.
I know the feeling of watching groups get tighter or finding the perfect mix...
