I found that the 30-30 to be a great brush gun, I hunt with a 270 & 30-06 but my back up is a M94 open sights for a close shot in wooded areas. 200 yrds. no problem. Once you own one you'll keep it for life.

the trigger is one of the best that I have tried & shot it breaks the same every time I fire it, it does takes a few rounds until you get used to the pull almost immediate, very easy to get double taps at first.
