I have bought a few guns on gunbroker; but, you have to be patient & know what used guns are going for locally. The few I bought were $50 - $100 less (including shipping) than I could get locally.
It used to be a S&W pre-10 4" loaded with Remington 158 gr HTP. Now it's a S&W SD9VE loaded with 15 Hornady 124gr XTP. Although both the pre-10 & a Ruger LCR .38 are loaded & close by!
Because I have owned guns since my Dad gave me my 1st .22 at age 14. I have never really thought that much about it; I enjoy shooting, hunting & protection is nice too.
Android; as much as I hate cell phones, work & family issues require that I be available at all times. It's a pain; but, at least as far as family is concerned, it does ease my mind to know that when there is an emergency (lots) I'm reachable. I did disconnect my land line though!
I had a SP101; hated the trigger, finally sold it. I have since picked up a 6" Colt Police Positive Target made in 1929 for $410. Beautiful gun that is a real joy to shoot. Not a very good photo:
I have seen most of the episodes of "Tales of the Gun" on Youtube. Most are pretty good, lots of information I did not know. Particularly liked the ones about John Browning, Sam Colt & Smith & Wesson.
