Just wondering how the powder situation is around your area. I was taken away today when I went into my LGS and was able to pick up some CFE Pistol, and Varget in the same day.

Excellent target bullet. Don't know much about the expanding point, but after Ramshot published +P data for them, and I experimented with Silhouette they are deadly accurate.

I agree GLOOB with the Tula SP FTF's, I don't know if it was a bad lot, or what. I've shot the LP's with no problem as well.

Thanks Frog. They had them here at my LGS for $30, compared to $42 (per 1000) for all other top name brands, I figured I would save a few bucks. I had horrible luck with the Tula primers.

Sweet! I'll try it out, and I have had excellent results with WST and 230gr .45 jacketed bullets. Enough to put the 231 aside permanently.

I use mostly xtreme 124hp due to the price and availability. I started experimenting with Hornady HAP in 115 with good results, and everyday plinking xtreme 115rn. Mstreddy I would appreciate any data you have, and thank you for the welcome.

Xtreme by far, with the discounted shipping they have now makes it a plus. Used powerbond bullets previously but when they secured a new lead supplier the prices went sky high (still a quality product though).

Data is pretty much none. I have an older Hornady data book which shows some loads. Anyone experimented with this combo. I usually am a Winchester 231 guy but with the limited powder choice where i'm located, and the amount of WST I have on hand figured I would reach out to any potential...
