    Shipping a gun to myself?

I have flown at least 50 times between Hawaii and the Mainland and it's a simple matter to accomplish by air. As mentioned by bearcreek, an unloaded weapon goes in a lockbox into a checked bag, TSA inspects it, the airline asks for your signature attesting to the weapon being unloaded, you get...

    Help deciding next concealed carry

SIG P365 Series pistols work for the Kid. Fits my hand, a good trigger. I also like the modularity of the Series. I have the P365, P365SAS, P365XL RomeoZero, all great, reliable carries. I carried the G43, 43X, and 48. Between those three the G48 was the winner and they all were reliable...

Help me choose between two Ruger SAs.

Is the 41 mag an older 3 screw or a "new model"? If the .41 is the older model it would be a no-brainer decision over the Bisley 44 Mag in my opinion. I've owned a three-screw 4 5/8" 1967 Ruger .41 mag since it was new and it's more than enough gun loaded with the right ammo for the job.

Model Suggestions For A "Fighting" 20 Gauge

To answer a number of queries about a 20 gauge fighting shotgun for a twelve year old let me say this, while many Americans are teaching their children to be tolerant of other cultures, those same cultures are teaching their children how to make IED's, field strip various weapons, and kill...

Who Needs 450 Bushmaster When There's The 45-70?

I'm not sure the question was a "whine" or anything other than just what it was...... a question a "modern" item versus a "historic" item and their relative abilities. I will agree though, there are some "whiny" folks here............ or should that read effete outdoors-men?
