Over 20 years ago I picked up a couple of English 12 bore SXS hammer guns. 1 is Damask barrels. The other is marked "Nitro steel'. There are many British proof marks. My question is that it's marked 12 - 2 1/8 ". Is that the shell length? I might like to shoot it one in a while.:confused:

I have a Star Modelo Super in 9X19. I was shooting it and it failed to extract. I dismantled it and found the barrel lug had split. I need a new barrel. So far no luck in finding one. If I can't get one I guess it will be a wall hanger.:cuss:

What's the legal aspects of a non FFL in another state shipping a pistol to a C&R holder in different state? Next it was shipped with no requirement for a adult signature. The pistol is 1954 vintage if that makes any difference.

How do you measure the chamber (12ga) for the correct length of shell? I have a SXS nitro steel shotgun that I might like to shoot. I'm not a shotgun guy anyway. I've been told that English guns used shorter shells and use of plastic crimped shells can raise pressure to dangerous levels.

I've been trying to find a site that would give me the manufacture date of a FN 1910 pistol. S/N 36184X. It has a lanyard ring and is chambered for .32ACP. It came with a brown flap holster that would hold 2 mags. The holster has the leters A.V. on the reverse side. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been unable to find a barrel in .380 acp for my 1922 FN/ browning which is now in .32ACP. I can buy a extra .32 barrel and I was thinking perhaps I could have it relined to .380 acp. Is this possible???
