I have a 1940s era commercial PPK that was refinished. Read: no collector value. It does have, however, original brown swirly plastic grips in excellent condition. Internet research indicates that the grips alone may be worth a few bucks. Point being, I don't want to damage them...
The aimpoint is a little out of my budget right now, that's why I'm focusing on these two. I am open to other suggestions, though.
My big concern is whether the fastfire is up to the recoil of a steady diet of 44 mag hunting ammo.
I just got a 44 mag super blackhawk hunter that I am going to use for hunting here in TX. Of these 2 optics, which is better suited? It'll be used on deer/hogs/javelina for the most part.
thanks

I just bought one in great condition for 199 at my LGS. Only had one mag, though. So, 180 seems like a fine price. I don't know what the wholesale price is on an LCP, but bear in mind that wholesale is what they pay for a new gun, so they'll never pay that much for a used gun.
I had one for awhile until I sold it to another forum member. Mine was on a S&W round butt frame, though. It was a thing of beauty - Tuned S&W trigger, python accuracy, and a round butt. Square butt double actions don't work too well for me.
