    Conundrum (mixed feels)

Keep it. Either get .44 specials or better yet- dip your toes into reloading and then you can load .44to however you'd like to.

New Blue Python - GOT ONE

My 2 cent opinion.... First, the blued Python looks great- congratulations on your purchase. Secondly, for something like that, why not get a nice set of custom stocks for it? After seeing @CraigC pictures of his custom Ruger BH with the resin ivory stocks, I'd be looking at that hard. Get...

    Lyman primer flip tray help.

@CoalCrackerAl are you trying to remove the tray with the shell holder on? It's best to have the shell holder off as the lip on the lid will catch on it. You should be able to just hold it and push up with your thumb and it'll go up easily. If it's giving you too much issue, then something...

    Horvath Lil Ruger

@CraigC looks fantastic. Are those grips from resin-ivory? I've periodically have bugged you about these :) They look great- what do you think about them? How do they feel?

Alright, I think I am ready to try out a progressive press

Just wanted to say that I work for Mark 7 Reloading's consumer side, and also Lyman Products. I wear a lot of hats. If folks have questions, I'll do my best to answer them. If I don't know the answer (and there's a lot I don't know) I can find out from those that do.

Alright, I think I am ready to try out a progressive press

Priming is the most difficult part of the process. The automated priming system on the Evolution/Revolution is pretty bomb proof once dialed in. A lot of our commercial customers are loading 10k plus a day through our machines. They have to be reliable. Caliber change times vary on what caliber...

Alright, I think I am ready to try out a progressive press

The Apex has 10 stations. Typical set up is 1st station case feed 2nd decap (run a universal decap die) 3rd swaging (press comes with a universal hold down die) 4th size & priming. We found priming over the size die made for most reliable priming. Couple with proper swaging above really helps...

Alright, I think I am ready to try out a progressive press

Mark Mark, like @9mmepiphany said, we dropped the price to $2,499.99. We now make them with billet tool heads instead of the previous cast iron. Quality isn't cheap and our machines go the distance. We have Apex 10's out there with over a million rounds loaded through them and still going...

    New Model Flattop 44M

@CraigC My 357 50th seems better polished than some of the others around that time. Not as nearly nicely polished as my old model SBH though.

    New Model Flattop 44M

The writing should be under the barrel and grip frame is steel. If you pull the grips, I believe you'll see the internal lock in the grip frame. From what I've heard, Ruger spent some extra time on the polish and fit of the 50th anniversary models. With my 50th 357, this seems to be the case.

    Sheridan Blue Streak

That's an old rocker safety sheridan- they are sweet. I believe that uses the soldered in valve. This might work for you, double check on it https://www.pyramydair.com/product/benjamin-sheridan-repair-kit-fits-some-pre-1995-multi-pump-guns-w?a=624

    Sheridan Blue Streak

Do you have a picture of it? Inthink there were ones with a soldered in valve which are trickier than the newer valve.

New Colt Pythons in blued steel

A thousand times this. Know what looks better than a dolled up gun? A dolled up gun with honest wear. Didn't Teddy Roosevelt have his rifles and revolvers engraved by Tiffany's, but still put them to hard use? Elmer Keith had some nice guns, engraved with ivory stocks. I don't remember hearing...

    Why 32 h&r?

There's a SW j frame we have at work with a 3" barrel (I think, might be 4?). There were cases, powder, primers and we have a furnace and lead. For me, there was no cost. It's more than a .22. For me it was more fun than a .22. Little more oomph, very pleasant. One of those things where you...
