    Wet media?

By hand, they come out better under water. I use a regular media separater in a trash can lid. New dryer came with rack dry feature. Awesome for drying brass. :)

    Ultrasonic Cleaning AND Tumbler

I own a crest ultrasonic and wouldn't even think of using it to clean brass. Too much work. How much brass? 200 rounds of 5.56 and that tank starts looking awfully small. Perfectly clean and usable brass = vibratory tumbler. If you want to be anal about it then go wet with stainless steel.

    Whats your sizing lube?

One Shot. Just went and looked it up. 6,700 rifle rounds without a stuck case or dent. Wax in a tin can or on some stamp pad is ridiculous. It would take me half an hour to lube 100 cases. Over in 30 seconds with one shot.

Add me to the list! My rifle's accuracy load: 25.2 H335 Horn. #2267 55gr FMJ WSR primer LC mil brass COL 2.220" 1:9 twist Hodgdon lists 3,000+fps from a 20" bbl. I get about 2900fps from my 16" rifle.

How long can HK mags be loaded for?

I'm still running a few original mag springs that are at least 5 years old. They don't sit in the safe either. Just like everything else mag springs will wear out eventually. No different the the shocks and springs on your car or the tires you ride around on. HK makes excellent magazines but...

Which bullet for AR15 with 1 in 9 twist

Ammo Oracle = interesting and informative read. FWIW my RRA Mid-length 1:9 won't stabilize anything much over 62gr. Obviously each rifle is different. YMMV. Shoot em' and see.

    HK USP45

I've had three dealings with HKUSA in the last few years. Each time they performed the service/modification as promised and returned the weapon promptly. They have always been professional, polite, and reasonable to deal with. Regardless, I wouldn't worry about it a whole lot. Of my 6 HK...

    Polygonol bores

Manufacturers have claimed that as few as a half dozen shots can leave enough lead behind to increase pressures dramatically. Why not err on the safe side and buy an aftermarket from Jarvis or CCF. Or just shoot jacketed.

    For beginners???

ABC's (.) ABC's is not a load book, more of a "how to". You'll need at least one load manual before you get started. The more the better. My favorites are Speer and Lee.

    About HK?

Is it just me or is there a theme developing here. IMO, weapons are just like everything else in life, you get what you pay for. I'll add my 2 cents as well. I currently own 5 HK pistols. One with over 20,000rnds thru it. None of them have ever suffered from a single weapon related stoppage or...

    What's your condition of readiness?

There is no avoiding the fact that the more you handle/manipulate a weapon the more likely you are to ND yourself. People out there press checking a half dozen times a day are past paranoid, they need help. My carry gun is loaded, period. It's either on my hip or locked in the safe. It's...

Sweets 7.62 is as potent as it gets. Good for horribly fouled barrels. Follow the directions to the letter! - It's strong enough to pit your barrel if you let it sit too long. Resist the urge to sniff! Butch's Bore Shine - similar to Sweets but not quite as strong/effective. Montana Extreme -...

Fake. I don't care if you do get shot at on a routine basis, nobody giggles at incoming fire.

Channel 9 can't get their facts right either

What a let down! Reading the post before the vid loaded I was expecting Atomic Annie or maybe a Paladin Howitzer. Not very man portable but that's my definition of a "big" gun.

CPL holders! Who do you tell?

Only those who, in my estimate, are on a need to know basis. My family knows I have a carry license but I don't announce the fact that I'm carrying when in there presence. For all they know I might have gotten the permit just to make hiding it in the car legal. Some of my friends have discovered...
