    Wow-Love those rare S&W Schofields ! Wish I had gotten a pair when they came out back when. I once saw for sale some time ago serial numbers 1 & 2 that were fully S&W factory engraved. They were in the big five figure range at the time. Never saw them since.

    Thanks Craig, I surely remember that and actually what gave me the idea in getting the nylon ones years back. I went with the nylon as it was more easily adjustable, and being nylon, was less likely to cause any future problems, especially with MOP.
