Wow-Love those rare S&W Schofields ! Wish I had gotten a pair when they came out back when. I once saw for sale some time ago serial numbers 1 & 2 that were fully S&W factory engraved. They were in the big five figure range at the time. Never saw them since.

Thanks Craig, I surely remember that and actually what gave me the idea in getting the nylon ones years back. I went with the nylon as it was more easily adjustable, and being nylon, was less likely to cause any future problems, especially with MOP.

Consider'n all things... Ruger's SR1911 Series are really good bangs for the buck. Y'all gotta admit that Ruger's customer service is at the top of the heap, but I never needed them for mine, so no complaints here.
